Fundraising for Cyclone Freddy response

Within the past two months, Mozambique has been suffering damages from Cyclone Freddy, which occurred in February and March 2023.  It has been a deadly storm with flooding, loss of homes, little food, and contaminated water which spread from Mozambique into Malawi.  Freddy is the longest-lasting cyclone to date.

Mercy Air South Africa along with ASAM Ministries in Chimoio, Mozambique, and Rise Against Hunger and Crisis Response Network, both in South Africa are flying in food and aid to the Shire Basin area along the powerful Zambezi River.  As you can see, homes are either flooded or completely gone.  Food is scarce and fresh water is needed.

We have been donated 2 tonnes of high energy emergency food that needs to be taken to the flood area.  Will you give today to help with the cost of flying this food, providing relief for these people who have lost everything?  Your gifts are tax-deductible and desperately needed.
To give, simply click 9720 Flight Subsidy and your donations will go to help the victims of Cyclone Freddy.

The victims of Cyclone Freddy thank you.

God bless.
